COURSE OVERVIEW

"We have made (The Qur'an) easy in thy tongue that they may mind." ~ Holy Qur'an, (44:58)

The objective of this course is to give the student an introductory comprehension of how to pronounce, read and write the basic Quranic Arabic Alphabet and vowels.

This course is designed to develop your ability to recognize individual letters of the Arabic Alphabet in their various forms and begin to read simple Arabic.

HOW WILL THE COURSE BE DELIVERED?

Your course instructor and facilitator will guide you along the weekly units of study through a weekly live web classroom session, online resources and support your progress to achieve each objective with course exercises and drills.

Students must complete all weekly assignments before the next weeks lesson will be made available. Students that demonstrate course objectives upon completion of this course will receive a certificate of completion of this course.

OBJECTIVES

Memorization of the Arabic Alphabet
Recognition of all letters and phonetic symbols
Correct phonetic pronunciation of the Arabic Alphabet
Read a basic Arabic word
